Commenting on Electricity Minister’s statement before the parliament plenary session, Abou El-Enein underlined the need to spread a new culture among Egyptian citizens on how to deal with energy.
Moreover, the lawmaker stressed the importance to turn Egypt into a regional hub to export electricity to Europe and other countries, given that Egypt enjoys all the necessary potentials.
In addition, Abou El-Enein asked about the state’s plan to boost the manufacture of electrical equipment, calling for the beautification of homes’ roofs, and using them as a source of energy.
The parliament deputy speaker stressed the need to adopt a new strategy for the manufacture of electrical equipment and made-in-Egypt products’ export.
He added, “We enjoy all the raw materials needed for the manufacture of electrical equipment and the adoption of this industry will achieve a big leap in the field of exports.”
Abou El-Enein also hailed the Electricity minister’s sincere efforts, describing him as one of Egypt’s prominent scientists, who ‘we are all proud of’.
