Deputy parliament speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein affirmed that the petroleum sector is promising, “we were able to take our right in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea”, Abou El-Enein said.
In his speech during parliament’s plenary session on Monday, Abou El-Enein pointed out that the petroleum sector is “a pioneering one” and occupies a strong position.
Abou El-Enein added that the petroleum sector represents 24% of the gross domestic product, pointing out to 98 agreements in the past five years, with investments amounting to 74 billion.
“The petroleum sector has succeeded in achieving many goals in the Techno chemical industries,” the Deputy Parliament speaker said, stressing the importance of maximizing the added value of oil and natural gas.
