MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, Deputy Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives, said that Egypt will be the most suitable tourist destination in the whole world next winter.
During the parliament plenary session on Tuesday, Abou El-Enein added that there was a loss in the last period and we know about this loss because Egypt Air customers are tourists, so it was greatly affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Parliament deputy speaker noted that Egypt today is preparing for a new type of take-off, as it will be the most suitable tourist destination for the coming winter in the whole world. “Therefore, there are many question marks about Egypt Air about how it is preparing for this important stage.”
The parliament deputy speaker explained that Egypt occupies today 0.2% of the volume of goods transported, and these are considered little numbers. “I would like the Ministry of Aviation to inform us of the next plan to market Egypt and attract large numbers,” he said.
The Egyptian MP stated that he met the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the latter told him that all travel restrictions imposed on foreigners from all countries of the world have been lifted. “This gives us a new message to prepare for the future,” he said.
Abou El-Enein went on to say that about 40% of global airlines became extinct after the Coronavirus pandemic. He noted that the total loss in the field of aviation worldwide reached 201 billion dollars.
“If we look at the numbers in all countries of the world, we will find that U.S., for example, gave $85 billion dollars in support to the airline, Air France gave 7 million euros to airlines and Germany gave Lufthansa about 10 billion euros
