Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Egyptians on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the Police Day celebration.
Abou El-Enein emphasized that this memorial represents an important day in the history of the Egyptians, and a reminder of the heroic deeds of the Egyptian police through sacrifice and and redemption.
He also congratulated Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfik and all the officers and police on this occasion, stressing that January 25 is the day of the police’s struggle.
He said, “I salute those who spread security and reassurance in Egypt with honor and patriotism, and those who face terrorism and extremism with sacrifice.”
He stressed that throughout their history policemen wrote unforgettable stories of heroism and sacrifices for the sake of the homeland and its protection from the forces of evil.
“We inspire loyalty, sacrifice, pride and dignity from the families of the police martyrs,” the deputy speaker said.
“Police Day is an inspiring anniversary that calls us all to work and fight for our homeland … It calls on us to join hands with the men of the armed forces and the police to eliminate the evil forces that work to undermine development and prosperity in Egypt,” he concluded.
