Terrorism today is much more dangerous than ever
Honorary President of the Euro-Mediterranean Parliament Mohamed Abou El-Enein said that Terrorism nowadays is more different than it was before. Terrorism nowadays is supported by states, organizations and bodies, which has made it much more dangerous than ever, the businessman added stressing that there are political ambitions behind all terrorist operations.
During the 14th Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean, on “Combating terrorism in the Euro-Mediterranean region”, Abou El-Enein noted that the confidence of all members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean in the Egyptian economy represents a real invitation to all international companies to invest in Egypt .
Chairman of Egyptian-European Business Council Mohamed Abou El-Enein said that Egypt has restored its economic strength and moves on the right track. He added: “Egypt has also created an attractive environment for investment; and there are many foreign companies that have entered Egyptian market to invest in it”.
The prominent businessman hailed the Italian investment in Egypt saying:” We are proud of the Italian investments in Egypt estimated at 12 billion dollars”.
Many other foreign companies invest in Egypt because there is a positive legislative environment created by the House of Representatives within 3 years, Abou El-Enein noted.
Abou El-Enein also expressed his appreciation for the parliament for issuing economic and social legislation, assuring that it plays its role and recognizes the seriousness of the stage.
Chairman of Egyptian-European Business Council asked the Member States of the Parliamentary Assembly for the Mediterranean, to support Egypt, which fights terrorism alone and presented a good security model thanks to the Egyptian armed forces and police.
Abou El-Enein added that the regulation of The Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean aims to promote partnership and cooperation in all fields between the northern and Southern Mediterranean countries.
The prominent businessman said that the participating countries reviewed in their speeches yesterday the latest developments of terrorism and its escalation supported by those who have political ambitions, pointing out that such attempts failed in Egypt, where the people supported their leader on June 30, to expose the conspiracies.
