Mohamed Abou El Enein, the honorary president of Euro-Mediterranean Parliament, said in his remarks on Sunday that the Egyptian people feel deep sorrow over the fate that Regeni suffered in Egypt.
He noted during the Egyptian-European Council conference that the murder that occurred during the Italian minister’s visit to Egypt is not a coincidence.
“it is not fair to give the crime any political orientations” he added.
Abou El Enein stressed that the Italian majority leader will hold a press conference in Rome over what he saw during his visit to Egypt which affirms Egypt as a safe country that seeks to establish major projects such as the Suez Canal and the administrative capital.
