MP Mohamed Aboul Enein member of the House of Representatives and deputy head of the Nation’s Future Party, affirmed that the future of nations depends greatly on the knowledge and innovations their citizens possess, stating that states must choose between innovation or extinction.
Aboul Enein called for holding annual competitions to discover creative children and youth. These competitions are an opportunity for them to present ideas for creating a new product or service that addresses real-world problems.
The Cleopatra Group Founder added that youth and children are the most creative and innovative groups in society, calling for the unification of the existing bodies working in the field of discovering and adopting creative and talented children and youth,
Aboul Enein revealed that Egypt currently has more than 23.5 million pre-university education students and 3 million university students who constitute a broad base for innovation and creativity.
In his speech to the plenary session of the House of Representatives to discuss a draft law establishing the State Prize for young inovators, Aboul Enein indicated that countries support their children and youth and offer them prizes with the aim of creating a new group of young innovators who, with the financial assistance of the state, advice, guidance and training of experts, can transform their innovative ideas into successful business and projects.
He added that the largest companies in the world working in the field of technology now were started by young men in their twenties with creative ideas that they turned into successful projects.
Aboul Enein pointed out that the prize value is 40,000 pounds, which is equal to 2,500 dollars, which is a very small amount.
