Chairman of Egyptian-European Business council, prominent businessman, Mohamed Abou El-Enein met with chairman of the Board of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
The two sides reviewed the Arab situations after US President Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
During the meeting, Abou El-Enein told Prince Sultan bin Salman that the Arab countries should unite to defend the Palestinian right, confirming the Arab and Islamic identity of Jerusalem, in addition to its historical, religious and national status for all Arabs and Muslims.
He stressed that Jerusalem will always be the Capital of Palestine and the first holy destination for all Muslims and Christians.
This came during a cultural evening entitled “Ryad Al-Nile”, which was hosted by Saudi Ambassador Ahmed Al-Qattan, Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League, in the presence of a number of ministers, public figures, intellectuals, politicians, ambassadors, editors, writers and media personnel.
Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz announced that Egypt will be the guest of honor at Souk Okaz (Okaz Market) in its coming session.
He said, “I was born in 1956 in Cairo”, adding, “My father, May God keep him, was keen to brief us on the Egyptian literature”.
He concluded, “I do not believe in the clash of civilizations or religions, as Islam is a religion of dialogue, communication and peace.”
