Prominent Businessman، Mohamed Abou El-Enein، The honorary Speaker of The Euro-Mediterranean Parliament، said that the global conference of Human fraternity is very significant.
“Al –Azhar Grand Imam، Dr. Ahmed El-Tayyeb is a great Islamic figure who adopts moderate Islam”، Abou El-Enein said in an interview to “Ala Masolity” (On my Responsibility) program aired on “Sada ElBalad” TV Channel، hailing Al-Azhar role in renewing religious discourse under president Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi directives.
Egypt’s President، Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi stressed more than one time on the importance of renewing religious discourse، Abou El-Enein added.
Moreover، the businessman pointed out that Human Fraternity conference coincides with The birth anniversary of Late Egyptian president، Gamal Abdul Naser، and the 100th Birth anniversary of Sheikh Zayed bin Al-Nahyan، and Nelson Mandela.
He also noted that Pope Francis’s visit to Egypt delivered a powerful message to the whole world.
The biggest challenge is to confront evil people who exploit religion to justify their terrorist acts، Abou El-Enein noted، explaining that their attempt to politicize religion to achieve their interests is very dangerous.
Abou El-Enein assured that the concept of religious discourse should be corrected worldwide، noting that Egyptian youth are cultured، religious and knowledgeable.
In this Regard، Abou El-Enein called to establish a global institute that brings together all religions، in order to correct misconceptions.
Human Fraternity Global Conference، Organized by the Muslim Council of Elders، under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan، Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces kicked off in Abu Dhabi yesterday، Sunday.
The two-day conference aims at discussing the critical importance of fraternity and peaceful coexistence.
The Global Conference of Human Fraternity focuses on a wide spectrum of themes، including ‘Principles of Human Fraternity’، ‘Common Responsibility to Achieve Human Fraternity’ as well as ‘Human Fraternity: Challenges and Opportunities’.
