The Abou El-Enein Charity Foundation held a group wedding for 30 brides and grooms, who are all residents of the Giza district. The ceremony was held at the Orman Garden in Giza.
The festivities started upon receiving the brides after they were done having their make ups done in one of the most famous beauty salons in the sixth of October. The festivities consisted of a carnival containing oriental dancers within the Bahr El-Azzam Street until the location of the wedding.
Mrs Somaya Abou El-Enein, deputy chairman of the foundation, stated that the wedding organization is considered one of the foundation’s main activities over the past couple of years.
In order to apply for the foundation’s wedding services, the couple must hand in their official wedding certificates alongside their incomes, and if they meet the foundation’s criteria they will be selected. She also revealed that the next wedding dates will be held in the upcoming Eid El-Adha, encouraging all Giza’s citizens to apply for the foundation’s service which offers financial aid in addition to home furniture and other necessary needs.
Governor Ahmed Rashed revealed that there are 29 other couples getting ready to wed and that the governorates’ main purpose is to please it’s citizens.
Gaber El-Mahdy, chairman of the Nogoum El-Mogtama organization thanked the governor for being so cooperative stating that his is very easy to get in touch with, in addition he thanked prominent businessman senator Mohamed Abou El-Enein for aiding the residents of his district. Meanwhile, Senator Abou El-Enein congratulated the couples in his speech.
