As a part of the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote tourism and investment and to discuss ways to increase trade exchange with Latin American countries, the Ministry organized a tour for the ambassadors of Latin American countries to new Galala city, to inform them about the giant development projects launched by the Egyptian state in recent years.
Vice chairman of Cleopatra Group Tarek Abou El-Enein accompanied the ambassadors during their tour inside Ceramica Cleopatra factory.
Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Latin American Affairs Ashraf Mounir said that the ambassadors inspected the marble and granite complex in Galala, a factory for ceramic products, as they reviewed Egypt’s production and export capabilities in the marble and ceramic industry, in addition to the level of quality and global competitiveness that Egypt enjoys in these fields.
The visit program also included an introductory guided tour of the most prominent tourist places in the city of Galala, including the new hotels and the city’s shopping center.
On the sidelines of the visit, the delegation of ambassadors of the Latin countries met with the President of the University of Galala to get acquainted with the most prominent academic branches available at the university and the possibility of launching academic cooperation between the University of Galala and universities in the Latin continent.
