Prominent Businessman، and president of Egyptian-European Business council، Mohammed Abul Enein received earlier Thursday، US Consul General، Sean Murphy.
Abul Enein praised the historical Egyptian-American relationships، assuring that the bilateral relationships between both countries should witness a development during the next period.
Moreover، Abul Enein pointed out to the efforts exerted by Egypt to encourage the foreign investments.
Meanwhile، Abul Enein stressed that Egypt is the pillar of the Middle East region، and the most important country in the Arab World، adding that Egypt regarded United States as a strategic partner، and is looking forward to further Political، economic and security cooperation، particularly in the field of combating terrorism and extremist ideas.
On the other hand، Murphy expressed his happiness to work in Egypt، considering it as one of the leading stations in his career.
Regarding the warnings issued by US Embassy lately to American nationals in Cairo، Murphy stressed that they are a part of routine procedures، noting that Washington appreciates the role played by Cairo to achieve the security and stability of the region.
