Egyptian prominent businessman Mohamed Abul Enein, honorary president of Euro-Mediterranean Parliament, called on Italian Senator Lucio Barani of the Liberal Popular Alliance Bloc, on Sunday, to adopt the idea of establishing an industrial zone in the economic zone of Suez Canal development axis.
Abul Enein stressed that a group of Italian investors are willing to invest in the Egyptian market through a series of major projects in the fields of waste recycling, energy and health sector.
Egyptian-European business council headed by prominent businessman Mohamed Abul Enein, hosted yesterday, Sunday, Italian Senator Lucio Barani of the Liberal Popular Alliance Bloc and a number of Italian businessmen.
The meeting focused on the mutual relations between Egypt and Italy and ways of enhancing them in all fields, in addition to increasing the Italian investments in Egypt.
In April, Italian Senator Lucio Barani of the Liberal Popular Alliance Bloc and Senator Francesco Amoroso, the former president of the Euro-Mediterranean parliament, have ruled out, during an interview with Abul Enein, the possibility of the involvement of Egyptian government in the killing of Italian student Giulio Regeni, stressing that a terrorist attack lies behind the incident to spoil the relationship between the two countries, pointing out that the Regeni’s killers are enemies of both Egypt and Italy.
