Chairman of the Egyptian-European council, prominent businessman Mohamed Abou El Enein, said that Egypt is stepping steadily on the track of stability and progress, pointing out that Cairo now is different from than it was two years ago after it achieved the last stage of the future roadmap “the parliamentary elections”.
Egypt is looking for opportunities of cooperation with the European Union due to the good relations between the two sides, the Egyptian businessman added, noting that the volume of the investment is not compatible with the depth of relations, describing the EU as a historic friend and the largest trading partner of Egypt.
Egyptian-European council hosted the electricity minister Mohamed Shaker and discussed the prospects of electricity, renewable energy and investment opportunities available in this field.
Egyptian-European council hosted also Dutch Ambassador in Cairo Gerard Astejs, and discussed the future of the Egyptian-European relations in the light of the new neighborhood policy.
