Egyptian prominent businessman, Mohamed Abou El-Enein, the head of Egyptian-European business council said on Saturday that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s upcoming visit to Egypt will witness signing of an agreement on establishing an Egyptian- Russian industrial city in the Suez Canal axis zone.
Abou El-Enein added, on the sidelines of “Africa 2017” conference held in Sharm Al Sheikh Under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, that the current stage is witnessing a great political support for the industry, pointing out that a plan must be set for establishing specialized industrial cities in the Suez Canal zone, for attracting the international companies.
The state should encourage expansion in the field of feeder industries, the prominent businessman said. He pointed out that industrial cities should be established in cooperation with major industrial countries such as Japan, Russia, China and other countries.
