The National Council for US-Arab Relations announced the selection of Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein, as a member of the National Council International Advisory Committee.
For the first time, an Egyptian and an African has been chosen in the US-Arab Leaders Council, which is one of the most important decision-making centers in the United States.
Announcing the appointment, John Duke Anthony, the Founding President and CEO of the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations said in a statement, “We are honored to accept Representative Mohamed Abou El-Enein to join the International Advisory Committee. His presence is an enrichment for the Council’s successful endeavors in US-Arab relations, and he will be a valuable advisor in politics, economics, and trade sectors between US and Arab countries.”
The President of the Council, which was established more than 40 years ago in Washington, added “Abu Al-Enein is one of the great politicians and diplomats globally, and he has a great economic figure. He possesses an analytical and political ability that is appreciated by everyone, and he is a distinguished, and regular participant and speaker at the US-Arab Council Annual Conference.”
“He made great efforts in developing cooperation relations between Egypt on the one hand and Africa, Europe and the United States on the other hand. Abou El-Enein’s presence will be a great addition and an extraordinary value to the Advisory Council, in light of its endeavor to continue and strengthen US-Arab relations at various levels,” he stressed.
During the Arab-U.S. Policymakers Conference, MP Abou El-Enein played a prominent role in highlighting Egypt’s unprecedented achievements during the era of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, in the last eight years, including the declaration of the new republic and the development Egypt witnessed in various economic, political and social fields.
Achievements also included he establishment of 30 new cities, the new administrative capital, the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), energy projects, the COP27, and the big boom that Egypt witnessed in the field of roads, transportation, and social protection projects such as Decent Life initiative that serve 60 million Egyptians.
