MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein called on the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to pay attention to the file of the Holy Family.
The members of the Culture, Information and Antiquities Committee of the House of Representatives, and deputy head of Nation’s Future party said: “The holy family represents a qualitative shift in the field of religious tourism in Egypt.
Abou El-Enein added: “The family’s trip presented in Egypt has many points that tourists from different countries of the world come to, so it is really important to take care of it and its infrastructure.”
“It will always be eligible for better exploitation in favor of tourism in Egypt,” he added.
He pointed out the need to think of increasing the incentives of workers in the tourism and antiquities sector to better carry out their mission.
He drew attention to the need for government work and attention to attract tourists to visit Egypt in various seasons of the year, as Egypt enjoys tourism advantages in various fields.
This came at a meeting of the parliament` Culture, Information and Antiquities Committee, chaired by its representative, Mohamed Shaaban, to discuss topics of briefing requests submitted by deputies Jalila Othman, Jalal Awara, and Sherine Farraj, regarding the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities’s lack of interest in conducting scientific tests to discover many of the information surrounding the Pharaonic civilization.
