Thousands of Giza residents rallied on Saturday to express their love and support to the Egyptian renowned businessman Mohamed Abou El Enein in his parliamentary elections race, which is set to take place on the 11th and 12th of February. The Cleopatra Group founder holds the number four card in the elections and adopts the pen symbol.
Sada El- Balad English (SEE) was at the mass conference held today at Moneib district and asked some questions to the attendees there; why do they show all that support to Mohamed Abou El Enein?
Some of the attendees answered that Giza witnessed its greatest years when Abou El Enein was a member of parliament. The living standards of the residents were at an all-time high, expressing his happiness that Abou El Enein is back to his family and his people and they expect big things from him.
Meanwhile, some young men said that there weren’t adults when Abou El Enein was the district’s representative, but their fathers told them great things about him, expressing their hope that he will secure a parliamentarian seat and meet the demands of all Giza residents.
To express his gratitude for their great support, Abou El Enein said that he is extremely happy with the love he received from his people on Saturday, promising them that he will do his best to fulfil all their hopes.
He added that the residents of Giza have always been loyal to him and that he will forever be grateful of the trust they bestowed upon him.
The businessmen played prominent diplomatic and legislative roles over the years, which accumulated in his election as head of the Mediterranean Parliament, in appreciation for his political, social and economic decisions over the years.
Among his great diplomatic achievements was the International conference on peace in the Middle East, which was held in Malta.
